WORKSHOP FEE $450.00
Brian's painting workshops are open to all levels of painting experience. They are geared towards helping artist deepen their insights in painting with oils. Discussions regarding composition, design, color theory and utilising a workable palette, both in the studio and out on location, will further the artists understanding of the fundmentals. Focusing on a simplification process, the step-by-step method to creating a successful plein air painting will be just one of the topics discussed throughout the three day session. Each three day workshop will begin with an opening lecture at the artists home/studio located in Pebble Beach.. Lectures will include a discussion on supplies and favored materials, palettes and color theory pertaining to painting outdoors, shooting good photo reference while on location and then using it in the studio, time management while painting on location, composing your paintings using a simplified step-by-step technique, and ideas about finishing your location paintings. Painting out on location will consume the rest of the days of the workshop. Participants will meet at the designated sites (maps will be provided) and create several works each day. I'll come around and visit everybody as much as needed and help with the progression of the painting. At the end of the workshop, we will all return to my studio for a final critique and a wine & cheese farewell gathering.

REFUNDS:
A full refund is given up to 7 days prior to the date of the workshop. A $100.00 fee will be held after that up to the date of the workshop. If I fill your spot all your money will be refunded.
